I got a couple of good parcels today. The first actually arrived yesterday but I had to pick it up this morning and the later arrived later on. The first package contained both a Canon EOS300V Film body and a Canon EOS 500D digital body. Ive been looking at giving film photography a try for quite a while now but have been unable to justify the cost of a film body until now. I bought the film body at the same time and from the same dealer as I got my 500D body. Live View and Video are things that greatly tempted me as well as a general upgrade from my 400D body (Which will still be kept as a spare and for experiments.) The second package co

I got interested in timelapse photography and decided to try and build an Arduino powered intervalometer so that I could do timelapse photography myself. So far I have a very basic version in which the interval is hardcoded but atleast the code works. My next step is to build an interface so that the interval and total length can be set on the unit. To do this I will add an LCD screen for display and several buttons to input options. I am just woundering if I should add any more features to it or not. Once I finish the intervalometer I'm going to open source it and provide the source code and circuit for anyone who is interested in it but

I have not been around here for quite a while. Now that I am getting back into things I am going to be updating more often. As I now have a Canon Eos 400D DSLR camera I am going to be practising my photography skills some more.
